How do I set up Windows Live Mail to receive my email?

The following is a general guide to setting up Windows Live Mail to enable you to send and receive emails.

Start up Windows Live Mail and press ALT on your keyboard to bring up the task bar.

Click on Tools, then scroll down and select Accounts.

Click on Add.

Select Email Account and click Next.

Enter your email address and password, then click the Next button.

Select either POP3 or IMAP for your incoming mail server type.

Your incoming mail server is: mail.yourdomain.com.

Please note: You need to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.

Your outgoing mail server is: mail.yourdomain.com.

Please note: You need to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.

Click the Next button.

Please note: To send outgoing email, SMTP authentication must be turned on. If you are asked for a username and password, please use your mailbox username and password.
